Each month, the coaches at Revolutions choose one or two skaters to honour as Skater of the Month. They are chosen for their work ethic during lessons and training and their determination to succeed, as much as for their results in competition.

Skater of the Month

SHANNON

Shannon is a new club member who shows great promise as she is already attempting and achieving more advanced content. She is dedicated to training, rarely leaving the floor and is positive and friendly, a great role model for other club members. Shannon passed her first proficiency tests this month and was awarded her first Bronze Bar in Figures and Freeskating.

 

STEPHANIE

Stephanie has been a member of Revolutions for 6 years, after beginning in the Star Classes at Digi and progressing through different levels of competition. She competed in Figures and Freestyle at the National Championships this year and was rewarded with being selected to represent Australia in the Oceania Championships in 2007, earning her first Australian tracksuit. She is a cheerful, happy skater, always willing to help new skaters and is working hard towards next year's competitions.
