Each month, the coaches at Revolutions choose one or two skaters to honour as Skater of the Month. They are chosen for their work ethic during lessons and training and their determination to succeed, as much as for their results in competition.

Skater of the Month

RACHEL

Rachel was chosen by our club coaches for junior skater of the month due to the great year she is having thus far. Rachel has won all of her Freeskating competitions in 2007 including Prep States. Rachel has also won the first round of the secondary league for figures and placed 4th at Prep states. Rachel is one of our junior skaters who is showing great ability and sets a good example to others by her dedication & motivation to training. Well done Rachel!

 

RHIANNON

Rhiannon was chosen by our club coaches for the senior skater of the month, her coach is Karen Olsen. Rhiannon won 1st Place at State Championships in Cadet for Freeskating & won 2nd Place for Cadet Figures. Rhiannon is representing Australia for her first time in the upcoming Oceania Championships in June. Rhiannon is a very hard worker & also a wonderful example to others with respect to how hard she trains. Well done Rhiannon!
