Each month, the coaches at Revolutions choose two skaters to honour as Skater of the Month. They are chosen for their work ethic during lessons and training and their determination to succeed, as much as for their results in competition.

TAMARA

Tamara was first introduced to skating when she had a skating party for her 8th birthday.
She has completed the Star Class program and was one of Digi's Rising Stars for 2005. Tamara competed in her first skating competition at the second round of the Novice League held in May 2006.
Tamara is a very happy and confident little girl who loves her coach and loves skating. Skating is an integral part of how she deals with disability - largly replacing the need for constant physiotherapy.

DANIEL

Daniel Balmer; teaches Star Classes, has been skating for 10 years; competes in the Advanced League in Masters Division for Figures and Advanced grade for Dance Pairs with his partner Karen Clough.
Daniel represented Australia at the 2006 Oceania Championships in New Zealand where he won a Bronze Medal for Masters Figures.
Beyond Skating Daniel is a Senior technical maintenance mechanic for a ten Pin Bowling Centre; a keen cyclist and ten pin bowler, who also enjoys motor vehicle maintenance best.
